3D Frog Life Cycle Craft

This 3D paper model will guide you through the 4 stages of the frog’s life cycle…
Eggs
Each quarter of the screen is divided into a scene, the egg scene shows a frog in the water.
tadpoles
Split into two smaller stages, the second stage shows a tadpole and the next stage shows a tadpole with legs.
frog
The third scene shows a frog in the water.
adult frog
The final stage shows an adult frog sitting on a lily pad.
How to Make 3D Frog Life Cycle Crafts

What do you need:
- our butterfly life cycle model
- thicker printing paper/cardboard
- the scissors
- gum
- optional: coloring supplies if printing black and white version
step by step tutorial
Printed models – pre-colored or black and white 3D diorama. The first step to take with the black and white model is to color it.
Cut out the diorama parts – cut along the outline.
Cut 4 parts.
Then fold along the dotted line on the diorama design.
Make nice clean folds.
Run your fingers over the folds or use a craft stick.
Apply glue to the area marked with the word glue.
Push the piece with the word glue under the quarter circle piece and glue it together. You will get a quarter cylinder shape.
Repeat with the other 3 pieces.
Now glue them together.
Start by gluing the first two together – apply glue all over one and glue them together.
Wait for the glue to set.
Continue with the others.
Now cut out the parts of the frog’s life cycle.
You can include or exclude parts of the name.
You will see dotted lines and pasted words on each of the pieces.
Fold along the dotted lines and apply glue where indicated.
For eggs, fold along the dotted line, apply glue and stick it somewhere in the water.
Then the stage of the tadpole which folds the two pieces…
…and glue the inside of the diorama as shown in the image below.
Next comes the frog, you can get your head out of the water.
The last is the frog.
First glue the water lily on the diorama.
Then glue the frog on top of the lillypad.
You can also glue the names of each stage of the frog’s life cycle into the diorama.
All done, your 3D Frog Life Cycle Craft is ready to view.
