Cut the yellow strip (both with rectangles) using scissors.
Cut out two yellow circles.
Connect the circles using a cotter pin.
Separate the ends of the pins to secure the circles together.
Take the yellow strip and fold the rectangles.
Apply glue to the rectangles, glue them to one of the circles and start wrapping the tape around the circles.
Continue with the wrap.
Apply some glue to the corner line of the strip and press down on the paper with your fingers until the glue sets.
This will be the body of the bee.
Take the black cardboard and cut three strips 1 cm wide.
Glue the strips to the yellow body.
Bee sting
Now draw an arrow on the black deck of cards.
Cut the arrow using scissors.
Apply glue to the bottom of the arrow and stick it inside the yellow body.
Leave the pointed part of the arrow as shown in the picture. It’s the sting of a bee.
wings
Take the blue bridge and fold it in half.
Draw a 2cm rectangle (this should be the origin of the fold), then draw a tear-off shape.
Cut out this shape with scissors.
Open the folded part. These would be the wings of the bee.
Now apply some glue to the rectangles.
Attach the wings to the back of the bee’s body.
bee head
Take the deck of yellow cards and cut four 1cm strips and bend the ends of these strips as shown in the picture.
Apply some glue to the folded ends.
Start gluing them on the top circle.
First make an X.
Glue the rest of the strips.
We have just finished making the bee head.
antennae
Draw two antennas on the black deck of cards.
Cut the antennae using scissors.
Fold the bottom of the antennae and add glue to it.
Glue the antenna to the bee’s head.
the eyes
Draw two round eyes. We made these eyes using black eyeliner and a circle ruler.
Glue the eyes to the head. Place them next to each other to make the bee fun.
Draw a circular mouth with a black pencil.
