Black Panther’s New Origin Makes Him Marvel’s Superman/Spider-Man Fusion
Vibranium Man ended up on Chandilar, the Throneworld of the Shi’Ar Empire, where only the elite can walk on its surface. In the skies, T’Challa has become a version of Black Panther mixed with Spider-Man, as the “Sky Spider” can be seen webbing an alien to gain more information about the arrival of the War Panthers. The hero also reveals the vibranium from his ship was turned into his armor, as he says he will “reclaim” his legacy.
Like many of the previous combination heroes introduced in Aaron’s Avengers and Avengers Forever run, the Vibranium Man makes for an exciting addition to the Marvel Multiverse. The Black Panther with a Superman-like tragic origin and Spider-Man’s powers will try to stop King Killmonger, as an encounter with his biggest enemy seems inevitable in the comic. The Black Panther variant will star in Avengers Forever #6 by Marvel Comics, which arrives in comic book stores on Wednesday.
