Tatsuki Fujimoto, creator of the hit manga saw the manreleased their new single shot Goodbye, Eri Sunday. As of press time, the 200-page comic is free to read on Viz’s website, but it will soon expand beyond the paywall.

Interested readers should not wait for the Ggoodbyewho It follows the life of a young boy named Yuta and his budding filmmaker and his friendship with a movie buff named Eri. The harrowing story begins when Yuta films his terminally ill mother in the last months of her life. As the story unfolds, it becomes increasingly dreamlike as the reader pieces together what was true and false in the story.

Fujimoto’s work has taken the anime and manga world by storm. One more shot, look back, summer 2021 – a breathtaking portrait of the young lives of two budding mangaka. Fujimoto, in Jump Festa, the second installment of the gory action series, saw the man, It will be released in the summer of 2022. An anime based on the same manga is also currently running at Studio Mappa and is expected to release later this year.
