Dragon’s Dogma Fans Hopeful for Long-Awaited Sequel After New Update

Interestingly, talk about the future of Dragon’s Dogma is happening amid wider discourse regarding dormant Capcom-owned IP. VGC recently relayed that during an investor relations Q&A, Capcom expressed an interest in revisiting older properties. Reportedly, executives also said they will take customers’ wishes into consideration while making decisions about its lineup of titles. Fans were quick to make known their dreams of seeing franchises such as Dino Crisis return.
In recent years, Capcom has breathed new life into Resident Evil and Monster Hunter, with the former especially needing a makeover after the release of Resident Evil 6. And given the success of RE2 and RE3 remakes, the expectation is that other beloved adventures from the past will eventually receive similar treatment.
