Everything You Might’ve Missed In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s 2nd Trailer

The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer has revealed three more new Pokémon to the series: Pawmi, Smoliv, and Lechonk. Pawmi is an Electric-Type Mouse Pokémon, Smoliv is Grass/Normal-Type Olive Pokémon, and Lechonk is a Normal-Type Hog Pokémon. Namara engages the player in their first Pokémon battle in the new games and will probably be there throughout the game to test the player’s battle skills and give the player in-game tips, like most sometimes annoying Pokémon rivals.
The trailer shows that Namara asks the player, “Are you these three’s Trainer?” which implies that the player has three Pokémon when they speak. This takes place right after the reveal of the three new starter Pokémon. It is possible that, instead of like the previous Pokémon games where players had to choose one starter, Namara is hinting that players get all three new starters at the beginning of the game.
