Fortnite is one of the greatest games in the world in that it is an enabler. Apple vs. Epic legal battle. It is therefore not surprising that it is an ever-expanding entity.

Over the past few years, Fortnite has spread across multiple platforms and become more than just a battle royale game with a building angle. It’s now a place where big stars hold virtual concerts. It is also a repository for various film, television and pop culture connections and character appearances.

It’s not easy to keep up with all the highs and lows of Fortnite, but we’re here to help. Read on for the latest Fortnite updates and news, plus other things you need to know about Epic’s epic game.

Latest Fortnite Updates, News & Patch Notes

Fortnite is finally back on iPhone and iPad, thanks to the power of Xbox Game Pass.

You can’t download and play the game from Apple’s App Store, but you can stream it on an iOS or iPadOS device with Xbox Cloud Gaming, as Microsoft has added Fortnite to Game Pass.

You won’t even need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, but rather a Microsoft account. So, to start playing Fortnite on your iPhone or iPad again, follow these steps.

1. Open Safari browser and head xbox.com/play

2. Sign in to your Microsoft account — If necessary, you can create a new account at this point.

3. On the Game Pass website, Tap the “Play for Free” option at the bottom of the Fortnite panel.

4. From here, Tap “Get ready to play”It will ask you to add an Xbox Cloud Gaming icon to your iPhone or iPad home screen.

5. To do this, Tap the bookmark button at the top right of Safari; It’s an icon that looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it. Following, Select “Add to Home Screen”, then press “Add”.

6. Exit Safari and go to the new Xbox Cloud game app-like icon on your home screen (looks like an app but is actually a bookmark) and launch it.

7. Sign in to your Microsoft account again (it may have remembered your iOS/iPads information). At this point you may need to create an Xbox profile which takes a few clicks.

8. After logging in, all you need to do is Tap Fortnite’s ‘Play for Free’ option againand then “Cheek” It is on the following page that the cloud version of Fortnite will be launched. From there, you can play with touchscreen controls or a Bluetooth controller.

While you can’t download and paly the game via Apple’s App Store, you can stream it to an iOS or iPadOS devices with Xbox Cloud Gaming, as Microsoft has added Fortnite to Game Pass.
