Four Leaf Clover Craft

Spread the luck with this four leaf clover craft or pull out a leaf and you have a great St. Patrick’s Day craft to make with your kids.

A four-leaf clover is said to bring good luck. Although it can be difficult to find one, it’s easy to create your own with paper.

You can also use this craft as a St. Patrick’s Day craft, just turn it into a 3 leaf clover and you are good to go.

how to make a four leaf clover

What do you need:

  • the scissors
  • light green card stock
  • dark green card stock
  • gum
  • pencil
  • stapler circle

Used materials

Let’s start!

Step by step instructions

Draw a big heart on the light green deck of cards.

Step 1

Follow this pattern three more times.

2nd step

Cut out hearts.

Step 3

Draw a smaller heart shape on the darker green deck of cards.

Step 4

Trace this small heart shape three more times.

Cut out the shapes.

Step 6

Now go back to the deck of light green cards and draw the third small heart.

Step 7

Trace this heart shape three more times.

Step 8

Then cut them.

Step 9

Make three clover leaves by sticking them on top of each other, arranging the hearts according to their sizes as in the photo.

Punch out a green circle using the circle punch.

Step 11

Apply glue to the circle and glue the four clover leaves.

The clover should now look like this.

Step 13

Draw a freehand body. Use darker green card stock.

Cut the stem using scissors.

Step 15

Glue the stem to the leaves with glue.

Everything is done here!

circle puncher

Let’s start!
Step by step instructions
Draw a large heart shape on the light green card stock.

Trace this shape three more times.

Cut out the hearts.

On the darker green card stock, draw a smaller heart shape.

Trace this smaller heart shape three more times.

Cut out the shapes.

Now take the light green card stock again and draw the third smaller heart shape.

Then cut them out.

Make three clover leaves by gluing the hearts on top of each other, arranging them by size as shown in the photo.

Put glue on the circle and glue the four clover leaves to it.
