How to make frog latch puppets
What do you need:
- our printable template for making frog latch puppets
- heavier printing paper
- clothes pegs
- gum
- the scissors
- coloring material if you printed the black and white version
step by step tutorial
Start by printing the model. We’ll show you how to make puppets with a black and white template.
We recommend printing (or even laminating) the puppets on thicker printing paper so they last longer.
In the black and white version, first have the children color the puppet.
Cut the mannequin when they are satisfied with their color.
Also cut along the muzzle to separate the torso and the top of the head.
Apply glue to the mandala.
Stick it on your head…
And the body…
Be careful not to keep the latch closed.

Step by step tutorial
Start by printing the model. We will show you how to make the puppets with the black and white model.
We recommend printing the puppets on thicker printing paper (or even laminating them) so they last longer.
With the black and white version, have the children color the puppet first.
Once they are happy with their coloring, cut out the puppet.
Also cut along the line of the mouth, to separate the body and the top part of the head.
Apply glue to the clothespin.
Stick on the head…
And the body…
Be careful not to stick the clothespin closed.
