Genshin Impact: How To Get The Catch Polearm

The Catch is a great free-to-play option for Genshin Impact’s Raiden Shogun, and players will need to capture rare fish that are available in select locations during certain timeframes. To obtain The Catch, players will need to capture 6 Raimei Angelfish, 20 Golden Koi, and 20 Rusty Koi. To obtain all four Refinements – Ako’s Sake Vessel – players will need 12 Raimei Angelfish, 40 Pufferfish, and 40 Bitter Pufferfish.

Raimei Angelfish will be the hardest to achieve, as they are only available in a Fishing Point off Tatarasuna from 18:00 – 6:00. Players will need to use False Worm Bait to capture this fish. Golden Koi and Rusty Koi can be caught using Fake Fly Bait in limited Fishing Points in Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma during all hours. Both variations of Pufferfish are also available in Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma during all hours and require Fake Fly Bait.

Players should exchange fish for The Catch first, followed by its Refinements. As fish will take around 48 hours or more to respawn, players who would like to obtain the Refinements more quickly can consider Co-Op in Genshin Impact. Players should be sure to ask the host for permission beforehand. The Catch’s substat is Energy Recharge, and its passive at Refinement 5 increases Elemental Burst DMG by 32% and Elemental Burst CRIT Rate by 12%. The Catch is one of the most useful free-to-play weapons in Genshin Impact.
