Hogwarts Legacy PS5 Punishes Left-Handed Players

The Hogwarts Legacy post is certainly strange, as it almost reads as though Avalanche Software forgot about left-handed players entirely. Hogwarts Legacy has many secrets, and it seems that the game has been paid a generally high attention to detail, which makes this apparent omission even odder. It isn’t as though the Hogwarts Legacy protagonist is a set-in-stone, predetermined character; players customize the main character at the start of the game, so there’s little reason they should be locked into right-hand dominance.

Perhaps it is Hogwarts Legacy‘s ambition and broad scope that has led to this discrepancy, as developers at Avalanche Software may very well have simply forgotten to include a left-handed option in the game (or even just in the write-up for the PlayStation Blog). Hopefully, if not already included, it will be an easy fix to include the option to switch to left-handed orientation for Hogwarts Legacy players on PS5.
