It Takes Almost A Year To Finish A Season

Despite filming around the clock during Below Deck‘s production schedule, post-production alone takes around eight months to complete. “You have to really be detail orientated with a show like this in regard to catching specific audio,” Nadine explains, as she references the unseen hookups between Below Deck season 3’s Rocky Dakota and Eddie Lucas. With so much work going into just one season, Nadine says the cast and crew become like family, admitting that she considers Below Deck‘s Hannah Ferrier to be “like a sister.” The Below Deck franchise has no plans to slow down, meaning that Nadine and the other producers will continue to work hard on future BDSY, Below Deck Mediterranean, and Below Deck Down Under seasons.
