How to Complete the Ritual Under Shadow Triumph in Destiny 2

Inside the Haunted Alcove, there are three Ritual components that need to be activated. Before summoning the main target of the Triumph in Destiny 2, Guardians are advised to take out the lesser Nightmares. This will prevent players from being overwhelmed with enemies, while also providing a damage buff from the Unstable Essences dropped. Since Sy’ad, the Unending is an Abomination, being able to take him out from afar is ideal. Ranged heavy weapons, such as Rocket Launchers and Linear Fusion Rifles, work the best. Standing too close will cause the Nightmare to perform a ground slam, dealing immense damage.

Once defeated, players will earn the Ritual Under Shadow Triumph and a loot chest. This will give Guardians an additional chance of obtaining any of the new Haunted weapons or armor. These chests can also contain one of Destiny 2‘s Opulent Keys, which are needed for a different Triumph. There are many more of Calus’s powerful Nightmares hidden on the Derelict Leviathan. Guardians that wish to earn the Reaper title, should seek out every Haunted Alcove.
