How To Create A Poll On Snapchat (And Share The Results)

To create a poll on Snapchat, open the application and click a Snap using the Snapchat camera by clicking on the circular shutter button at the center of the display. Then, in the next screen with all the editing options, tap on the ‘Sticker’ icon at the top right corner and select ‘Poll’ from the options highlighted in yellow. A basic poll layout will appear on the screen, along with a text field and two emojis. Next, enter a question/topic in the text field and change the emoji accordingly (by default, they are set to thumbs up and thumbs down). Once done, position the poll on Snap, tap ‘Send To’ at the bottom right corner, and add to ‘My Story.’

Here, select the three-dot menu given at the top right corner and tap on the poll’s name at the bottom. This section will showcase all the responses and the cumulative results of the survey. Then, if users want, they can share these results by tapping on the ‘Send Results’ button, clicking another Snap, and sharing it with their friends as a Private Story.
