We’ll show you a super easy way to create one that’s quite realistic, and the steps will help you build a good base for drawing pumpkins of different shapes – tall, chubby, thin…really all kinds.

What do you need:
- pencil or marker
- our printable pumpkin head drawing (optional)
- paper
- paint materials (optional)
Pumpkin drawing instructions step by step
Step 1
Start by drawing two curved lines – make a letter C on the left and an inverted C on the right.
2nd step
Connect the top and bottom ends by drawing 3 arcs between the ends (3 top and 3 bottom).
Step 3
Take a look at the middle arch above and below. Draw two curved lines to create the first rib of your pumpkin. It could be a little wider.
Step 4
Draw two more curved lines. You can already see your pumpkin taking shape.
step 5
From the center arc, draw two curved lines for the stem.
Step 6
Draw a circle on top of the body to finish.
Step 7
Add a curved line to the left…
Step 8
Draw another curved line to the right.
Step 9
Draw a vine. It’s over, you learned to draw a pumpkin.
