How to make origami lucky stars
What do you need:
- paper
- the scissors
- ruler
Step by step instructions
When you decide you want to do these origami lucky starYou might be surprised how easy it is to do! We’ll tell you HOW to make them so you can make them whenever your kids get bored!
You’ll want to start with a strip of paper. Place the colored paper with the colored side up!
Keep the paper flat and pull down the right end of the paper so it looks like the image above.
Now take the bottom end up and the left end. While doing the hard work with your right hand, make sure to hold it firmly with your left hand.
After performing a loop, you can go ahead and run the top end through the back and then thread it through the hole.
Go ahead and pull the end through the loop, eventually you will want to pull the bottom end to fully tighten the knot.
You will need to insert the end of the ribbon into the star. If you want to inflate the star, you need to pinch the corner of the pentagon.
You will do this between the thumb and forefinger. You’ll want to rotate each point of the star to help it bulge.
When you’re done, you’ll have a very cute and adorable origami lucky star! You can make an entire bowl out of it and leave it as an ornament on your table.
