The final trailer for the prequel series, released on Thursday, already throws a few names at viewers and gives them plenty of pale, blonde people to follow. To help you get an idea of where the series is headed and even what’s in the trailer, here are the characters we’ve seen so far and where they were at the start of the series. ‘story.
Of course, the series finale will have a lot more characters than that, but for now it’s a pretty good starting point.

Regardless of her merits, you can probably think of her as something of a Daenerys Targaryen of this series – at least for Dany’s early seasons – although the two share other similarities. Rhaenyra is also a rider of dragons who rides Syrax.

He was particularly supported by his father, Otto Hightower, from an early age.

Despite being the grandson of one of the High Kings of Westeros (Jaehaerys I Targaryen, also known as the Conciliator), Viserys’ hatred of the conflict and his grandfather’s refusal to comply with the estate of the male heir eventually helped sow the seeds. of his family’s civil war.

This show will probably be something of the Jamie Lannister type, but with a lot more ambition.

Rhaenys was once thought to be the heir to the Iron Throne, but after her father’s death, her grandfather Jaehaerys I Targaryen chose Rhaenys’ uncle Baelon as heir, establishing the first example of heir succession male in Westeros. would end up directing the Dance of the Dragons.
Later in her life, Rhaenys had two children, one of whom was named Laenor Velaryon, who would become Rhaenyra Targaryen’s first husband before she was killed. house of dragons it will be worth it or not. Rhaenys also rode a dragon named Meleys.

He’s certainly no Tywin Lannister or Olenna Tyrell, but he’s better suited than most to lead his daughter Alicent and son Aegon to the Iron Throne. Like many of Westeros’ best plotters, Otto served as the Hand of the King during the reign of Viserys.

Sir Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel)

Currently head of House Velaryon, husband of Rhaenys and fierce pirate who will eventually ally with Rhaenyra.
