iPhone 14 Is Reportedly Getting A Massive RAM Upgrade
The TrendForce report also seemingly confirms many of the other rumors about the upcoming devices, including the build materials, screen sizes, cellular connectivity options, front and rear camera configurations, and more. As per the report, all the four models will support both mmWave and sub-6 5G, but the vanilla models and the ‘Pro’ models will differ in almost every other aspect. While the base models will have aluminum frame, the ‘Pro’ variants will have frames made out of steel.
In terms of the screen sizes, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will feature 6.1-inch displays, while the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max will ship with bigger 6.7-inch screens. As for the cameras, Apple will carry on the tradition of offering dual-cameras with the base iPhone models while reserving the triple-camera setups for its higher-end models. The primary camera in the two top-end models, however, will have a 48-megapixel sensor instead of the 12-megapixel units offered by the iPhone 13 series. The front cameras on all four of Apple’s iPhone 14 models will still come with 12-megapixel sensors.
