Unfortunately, Bloodhunt isn’t available on any Xbox console and is exclusive to PS5 and PC, which means you can’t even play it on PS4. The game is free to play, offers controller support on PC (only PS5 button icons are available even if you’re using an Xbox controller), and there’s cross-play and cross-progression, although there are some limitations . you can’t exactly team up with your friends on both platforms or keep your progress on other platforms. Check out our other Bloodhunt crossplay guide for more on exactly how it all works and what to expect in the future.

There’s no official word from Bloodhunt developers Sharkmob on whether the game will release an Xbox Series X version, so for now Xbox gamers will have to miss this opportunity or try a different platform. Bloodhunt game director Craig Hubbard told The Loadout in October 2021 that the studio is only focusing on PC and PS5 to avoid spreading it too thinly. Now that the game is launching properly, it’s entirely possible that Sharkmob is open to making an Xbox Series X version of the game. However, it’s also possible that the developers will continue to address balance issues and fix bugs for now.
