Mass Effect’s Kimberly Brooks Weighs In On Ashley’s Return [EXCLUSIVE]

Since the new Mass Effect remains in early development, it seems unlikely that anyone outside of BioWare and Electronic Arts knows what characters will return. And Ashley’s hopeful reappearance could prove complicated given the series’ emphasis on choice. The original 2007 title asked players to choose between saving Ashley or another crew member – Kaidan Alenko. If previous heroes do sit center stage again, BioWare must either decide which optional characters will be canon or once more allow users to transfer older saves.

While rumors claim the Andromeda arc will tie into BioWare’s next space-faring adventure, the studio itself has yet to corroborate.
