Minecraft: How To Get (& Use) Mud Blocks
Minecraft fans can use a stonemason to craft mud bricks into associated slabs, stairs, and walls. Note that these three types of blocks can be crafted in a crafting bench, but with less efficiency. Placing one of these blocks on a surface produces a unique sound that mimics the sound of an actual mud brick.
The latest utility Minecraft What mud has to offer is that it can be turned into clay. Typically, it spawns in shallow water where clay boulders, dirt, and sand are present. Terracotta, one of the most versatile decorative blocks in terms of color selection, can be obtained by collecting and melting clay. However, Clay does not respawn, making it a somewhat scarce resource depending on the player’s position. But thanks to Mud, players can now create renewable clay as long as they have a source of Dirt Blocks. This can be done by placing the slime directly on any block with a sharp stone underneath. Eventually, it will transform into Mud Clay.
