Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds – How to Turn Off Auto-Battle

Full Automatic Mode in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is the default Auto-Battle system that can be adjusted in the options menu to match the combat preferences of the player. Naturally, the system is not perfect, but it will try its best to grant high performance for the most satisfactory results. On the other hand, Semi-Automatic Mode only enables Auto-Battle for the player’s auto-attack, meaning that abilities or spells must be executed manually. Finally, there’s Manual Mode, the combat system that gives the player complete control of their character in combat in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds.

To turn off Auto-Battle and enable Manual Mode in Cross Worlds, enter the options menu by pressing the gear icon at the bottom of the tri-bar HUD. Next, enter “Game” and toggle off the option, “Counter when Auto-Battle is off.” This disables the feature that has players automatically enter Auto-Battle whenever they are attacked when idle. However, those that wish to customize Semi-Automatic Mode or Full Automatic Mode can do so by holding the cursor over the Auto-Battle icon at the bottom of the screen.
