Oh & Comer’s Favorite Killing Eve Scenes Highlight Season 4’s Downfall
The success of the first three seasons of Killing Eve is majorly due to the passionate onscreen chemistry Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh have together. Killing Eve season 4 spends a vast amount of time focusing on Carolyn and Konstantin’s past and developing a similar dynamic between Helen and Eve that Eve and Villanelle shared before. It ends up more redundant than triumphant because of this off-kilter focus. By killing Villanelle off and keeping her and Eve separated for most of the season, the resolution results in something dissatisfying and ignorant to moments of the series that shine.
Though Villanelle and Eve do overcome their differences and collide romantically by the final episode, their relationship is not given the proper justice or sendoff. If season 4 had spent more time naturally developing their dynamic from where they left off in season 3, then Killing Eve could’ve have gone down in history with an ending it truly deserves.
