OnePlus 10 just leaked — and this feature easily beats OnePlus 10 Pro

2022 isn’t even halfway over yet, and OnePlus apparently isn’t giving up. You thought it was the OnePlus 10 Pro? This may not be the case. The standard OnePlus 10 has just been leaked and is expected to launch this year.

OnLeaks, in collaboration with Digit, spilled the beans on the alleged OnePlus 10. We didn’t hear anything about this phone when the OnePlus 10 Pro launched, but rumor has it that the phone maker is still working on releasing one. .

According to the leak, the OnePlus 10 currently has two chipset variants in testing, one with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the other with MediaTek Dimensity 9000. This makes us think that the OnePlus 10 won’t be released for a while. , because there is still a time of finalization and production to take into account.

The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Digit and OnLeaks speculate that the OnePlus 10 will use LTPO 2.0 technology like the OnePlus 10 Pro, allowing the display to jump from 1Hz at 120Hz. The leak claims there will be two configurations: 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB.

For cameras, the OnePlus 10 could feature a 50MP main sensor with a 16MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro lens unfortunately. The front camera will apparently be 32MP.

OnePlus 10: 150W in charge?

Frankly, we can expect this hypothetical OnePlus 10 to run Oxygen OS 12.1 on top of Android 12. But the biggest bombshell of this leak is charging. The OnePlus 10 would be equipped with 150W charging to fill its 4,800mAh battery.

There is only one problem. If the OnePlus 10 manages to make it to the US – which we doubt – it’s very likely that 150W charging won’t come close. If you recall, the OnePlus 10 Pro comes with 80W charging internationally, while 65W here in the US.

If the OnePlus 10 does exist and hit the market, it’s another device that obscures OnePlus’ product portfolio. The company seems to want to emulate Samsung and Motorola by having too many phones to keep up with.

There’s currently OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus Nord N20, OnePlus Ace (which also has 150W charging), and OnePlus Nord CE 2. Then there’s the rumored OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Nord 3. As you can see, the things get a little messy. The streamlined wallet of OnePlus’ past is gone for good.
