We will make small bats (you can make them bigger or smaller). Start by folding a sheet of black paper in half.

Double it again.

Cut it now.

You need to cut the paper into 4 equal rectangles.

Now comes the folding. Take 3 of the 4 rectangles and fold them as follows.

Fold it in half. Hunger.

Fold one of the creases towards the middle crease.

Do the same with the other.

Again, fold both sides towards the middle.

And once again.

Hunger. You have nice evenly spaced pleats that will make this accordion paper easy to fold.

Accordion loop, alternating valley and mountain folds.

Until the end.

When you reach the end, press down firmly, running your fingers (or a craft stick) through the folds.

Take it apart slowly to see if your accordion looks good.

Now fold it into a “paper strip” and fold the paper strip in half.

Do the same for the other two sheets of paper to get 3 accordions.

Connect two of the 3 accordions together.

Connect 3 to the first two.

Glue it all together…

For making paper badges. Put it aside.

Take the remaining black paper and fold it in half.

Draw a bat wing.

Cut 2 bat wings.

Cut a small slit in the wing as shown in the photo.

Fold along the slit.

Apply glue to the slot.

And stick it on the paper badge.

With a black pencil, draw two circles for the eyes and the teeth (we have underlined the glue cap).

Cut out the eyes and teeth and glue them to the Paper Badge Bat Crafts.

Completed!
