Pokemon is all about catching and Pokemon Go that means catching all kinds of Pokemon, including rare versions of Shiny. every Tuesday Pokemon Go, players will see a certain Pokémon appear more frequently during Spotlight Hour, which runs from 6:00 p.m. to 6:59 p.m. local time. Spotlight Hour is your chance to charge Candy, a chance for high Pokémon CP, and a Shiny Pokémon if you’re lucky.
Increase the odds of winning during Spotlight Hour?
Based on data collected by the Pokémon The Silph Road community, it does not appear that light rates increase during Spotlight hours. However, the large number of Pokémon that appear during the hour-long weekly event will increase your chances of clicking a random glow. The more Pokemon you click, the more chance you have of catching shiny Pokemon.
What can I do to attract more Shiny Pokémon?
Not much, unfortunately. It looks like a coincidence. Shiny Pokémon catch rates are set by developer Niantic and are usually only increased during special events such as Community Days or Safari Zones, or Legendary Raids. There are no consumables that increase Shiny Pokemon rates.
