How to Make Rocket Crafts for Mother’s Day

What do you need:

  • our spaceship model
  • card stock
  • the scissors
  • gum
  • photo or drawing material
  • color consumables if you print the model in black and white.

step by step tutorial

Print the DIY model.

If you printed the model in black and white, have the kids color in the background (can also be printed on blue paper!), the spaceship parts, and the bear.

Cut out the spaceship, the bear, the rectangular strip of paper and optionally the rectangle with mom, I love you to the moon and back! text.

Children can also write their own text in the background area.

The flare will need to be cut a little more, cutting along straight lines over the exhaust flames.

Also cut out the inside of the large circle (window) on the rocket. Slightly pinch the middle and make the first cut, then work from there.

Fold along the dotted lines.

Fold the blanks inward (as shown in the photo).

And the fins outside (as pictured).

Also fold the exhaust flames (accordion).

Paste the image inside the circle at the bottom.

Take the background and apply glue to the areas marked with the word glue.

This step must be done before gluing the rocket ;).

Glue the rocket to the background.

Write a message in the box or paste it in ours.

Take the small rectangle and form a loop by gluing the ends together.

Glue the small circle of paper to the small circle at the bottom.

Apply glue to the top of the bow and stick the Moon on it.

Completed!
