We have 3 cute creatures hiding inside the eggs and although 2 of them don’t hatch naturally they are just as fun.
We have an Easter chick.
And an Easter bunny.
And finally, a cute sheep hiding inside the egg.
How to Make Surprise Easter Egg Cards
What do you need:
- our printable Easter DIY template
- paper
- the scissors
- coloring materials if you print the model in black and white
step by step tutorial
Print the models. All models are available in black and white and pre-color versions, as well as in two sizes.
You can print them on regular paper or thicker printer paper – if your children are going to use markers to color their models, we recommend using them later.
Plain printing paper is suitable for wax crayons and colored pencils.
If you printed the black and white version, have the kids paint it before cutting it out.
Cut out the template – cut along the full line from the outside.
Fold along the dotted line at the top of the template as shown in the image below.
Now carefully fold the template aligning the upper dotted line with the lower dotted line.
Press firmly to make the crease clear.
Completed. Surprise cards are ready.
Now you can turn them on and off to make the Easter creature stand out.
