The 2022 Cannes Film Festival line-up in full

The Biography of Elvis by Baz Luhrman

The 2022 Cannes Film Festival is approaching and we are still waiting for that surprise appearance from David Lynch. The confirmed list, however, is equally exciting.

David Cronenberg will premiere his first feature film in eight years with Future Crimes, starring Viggo Mortensen, Lea Seydoux and Kristen Stewart, a promising throwback to the era of body horror. Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to the 1986 action movie directed by Tom Cruise, also debuts. There will be a special screening of Moonage Daydream, David Bowie’s first documentary endorsed by the Estate of Brett Morgen. Austin Butler and Tom Hanks star as Elvis and his crooked manager, Colonel Tom Hanker, in Baz Lurhmann’s biopic of the rock n’ roll icon.
