The best new TV shows coming your way in 2022 and beyond

Upcoming new TV shows look good. Very well. It’s ready to be stuck on your TVs in the near future. If you think you already have a lot to watch, major streamers are offering brand new must-watch shows you can’t miss. This fall, for example, we can expect Amazon Prime Video and HBO Max to go head-to-head with two of the big fantasy shows: The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Game of Thrones, ahead of House of the Dragon. . .

Season 3 of The Boys will “explore The Seven before The Seven”, according to creator Eric Kripke. The series will introduce Soldier Boy, played by Supernatural star Jensen Ackles, and delve deep into Vought’s sinister origins. Through Soldier Boy, the season will explore America’s history and explain “how we got into the current alarming situation we find ourselves in.”

Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power release date: September 2, 2022

The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power is set thousands of years before Frodo and Sam began their journey to Mordor. Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows a collection of both familiar and new characters as they face the reappearance of the dreaded evil in Middle-earth.

Rick and Morty Season 6 Release Date: to be confirmed 2022

Although Rick and Morty season 6 plot details have yet to be revealed, it’s possible things will pick up where season 5 left off, with Evil Morty blowing up the Citadel and destroying the finite central curve. Given the unlikely “meta” nature of the series. the new season can start over with a clean slate and act as if nothing had happened.

Season 3 of The Witcher is based on The Time of Contempt, the second book in the Witcher saga by Andrzej Sapkowski. According to Netflix, the official synopsis reads: “As the continent’s rulers, wizards and monsters race to capture her, Geralt lies in hiding and is determined to protect Ciri of Cintra from those who threaten to destroy her, her family newly reunited.”

Vikings: Valhalla season 2 release date: to be confirmed 2023

Season 1 of Vikings: Valhalla ended with Emma returning to the throne of England, but Kattegat was ultimately left without a ruler. While plot details for Vikings: Valhalla season 2 have yet to be released, we can assume that season three will focus on Harald’s newly discovered public enemy number one status and Freydis’ reign in power. as “The Last”, the savior of the Viking people.

In the fifth season of the martial arts comedy-drama, Terry Silver opens up new dojos across the Valley after Cobra Kai’s dishonorable victory in the All Valley Tournament. Although he has promised to quit his karate teaching if Daniel LaRusso, Miyagi-Do, or Eagle Fang do not win the tournament, he is still determined to defeat Cobra Kai and seeks help from his old enemy, Chozen.

Bridgerton is based on the series of eight novels by Julia Quinn which follows each of the eight siblings as they find love. Seasons 1 and 2 span the first and second books, which appropriately tell the stories of Daphne and Anthony. While Bridgerton’s third season appears to be based on the series’ third book focusing on Penelope and Colin, producer Shonda Rhimes says they don’t necessarily go there “regularly.”

Loki Season 2 Release Date: to be confirmed 2023 or 2024
Available on: Disney+

Loki is Marvel’s first Disney Plus limited series to receive a second season. The first season ended in chaos as Sylvie’s murder of the remains sparked the Multiverse War. Loki is stuck in an alternate dimension where a statue of Kang the Conqueror is located. Although nothing has been confirmed, Loki season 2 is set to take place in a world where Kang has taken over as the head of TVA and all other timelines.

HBO has announced the television adaptation of Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic survival adventure game for the first time in 2020. Set in the virus-devastated post-apocalyptic United States, Pedro Pascal plays Joel, a tired man charged kidnap an immune 14-year-old girl. He sends Ellie (Bella Ramsey) across the border and into a rebel militia safehouse. What begins as a small business turns into a brutal and harrowing journey that takes them to the United States and to dangerous lands where they must rely on each other to survive.
