Justice League: Road to Dark Crisis features other stories of young DC heroes coming to terms with the fact that their elder counterparts are gone. This means Nightwing stepping up to protect Gotham and the new Superman filling in for his dad. For Jackson, that means protecting Atlantis, as he did so effectively in this short story. As new Justice League members are going to be coming together to stop the inevitable threat, it’s time for them to fully embrace this new Aquaman in a way that they haven’t with the original.
