Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is a five-issue miniseries that takes readers to a dystopian future where the sole survivor of the original Turtles is Michelangelo. After Michelangelo became suicidal and wanted to end his life in a world without his family, he became the Last Ronin to get revenge on those who took them, Oroku Hiroto, son of Karai, the former leader of the Foot Clan. Casey Jones Jr. and after working with April O’Neil, Michelangelo’s final position begins.

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin #5 Tensions rise as Kevin Eastman, Tom Waltz, Ben Bishop, Peter Laird, Esau Escorza, Isaac Ecorza and Luis Antonio Delgado don their own Shredder armor as Oroku Hiroto continues his quest to kill the Son Ronin. After overthrowing Hiroto’s army, and especially a great soldier, Michelangelo summons the villain to face him like a man. The two engage in a bloody battle as Michelangelo is injured against Hioroto’s Shredder nanotech armor. Despite his defeat, Michelangelo does not give up, but is stabbed after being tricked by his opponent’s submission. In the end, Michelangelo manages to kill Hiroto in a heart-pounding explosion, avenging his brothers’ deaths – but it comes at the cost of his own life.

As Michelangelo writes Master Splinter’s diary, Casey Jones Jr. with blood issue. While succumbing to his wounds, he reveals that the most important lesson is to “know peace”. As he dies, a harrowing scene shows Michelagenlo reuniting with his brothers, Master Splinter and Casey Jones, who died in the war against the Foot Clan. Meanwhile, a glimpse into the future shows Casey Jones Jr. continuing his studies in the magazine and trying an experiment to create his own version of the turtles. A suitable ending for everyone.

Michelangelo’s death carries significant emotional weight as he finally finds peace after avenging the deaths of his brothers. Taking down Hiroto as he passes Master Splinter’s journal to Casey Jones Jr. completes his mission by laying the groundwork for future stories featuring the new hero. after all, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin His final landing turns out to be a nice punch of a story. Michelangelo’s Last Stand is epic and tragic and completes the entire journey of saving the beloved Tortoise.
