V Rising: How to Find (& Defeat) Errol The Stonebreaker

The best way to deal with Errol and defeat the Stonebreaker in V Rising is by having a general understanding of the Carrier’s moveset. As a Level 20 Boss, players should not expect too much of a challenge, but he can catch those unprepared off guard. Below is a list of Errol’s mechanics to help Vampires know how to deal with them:

Call the Grunts: The Stonebreaker will summon some trash mobs in V Rising to attack the player. They aren’t much of a threat but should be taken out as soon as they appear.
Stonebreaking Spin: Errol’s hammer will momentarily glow yellow before he unleashes a knockback spin attack.
Aftershock: This ability is identical to the one mentioned above, creating a delayed eruption of Chaos in a straight line.
X Marks the Spot: Errol will rear back and slam his hammer into the ground, causing four Aftershocks to occur in an X-shape, with him as the focal point.
