Being confined in an endless ocean and unable to fight is an understandable fear, even for a demigod. What’s interesting about this particular scenario is that it’s exactly the sort of thing Aquaman could bring into existence. Arthur has demonstrated the ability to control the oceans and manipulate the water to his will. In fact, this fear adds a layer to Aquaman and Wonder Woman’s rivalry in the twisted Flashpoint timeline.
With a bitter history between the two leaders, the Amazons and the Atlanteans went to war and were prepared to take the entire world down with them during Flashpoint.
